Rituals of self-care

The world is a crazy place right now, regardless of your own perceptions and beliefs. So much information flying at us, apps luring the next click bait. It's never ending.


I'd love to know what you personally do to stop your nervous system from staying in a permanent sympathetic state.


I have a few things that I do but every Sunday, I write down something that I am grateful for, I pop the piece of paper into a jar and leave it on the shelf until next week.


I find this practice helps me find a moment of happiness if things are overwhelming and more importantly, it brings me into the present, where I can't worry about what has been or what is to come.
