Think about whether you need to rug yet

Here's a video I made this morning about when to rug. Think about leaving your horses to grow their coats to:

• Help shift summer weight

• Reset their metabolism

• Save you time not rugging

• Delay clipping

To do this, support them through the coat growing period if necessary with feeding more fibre, especially hay, so they don't get cold while they make the changes they need for winter.
